Moving out? Here’s 5 ways to make your move as smooth as possible.

1. Provide written notice at least 60 days prior to the end of your lease by sending a signed letter to hello@houseofrosie.ca

2. Pack and remove all of your belongings and dispose of all garbage. Do not leave garbage or furniture beside or around bins.

3. Clean! Click here to reference our cleaning guide so you understand what’s expected of you before your move-out inspection. (See notes 2. & 3. below).

4. Change your address or forward your mail so you don’t miss out on important documents.

5. Schedule a move-out inspection by emailing hello@houseofrosie.ca (See note 1. below)

Additional Move-Out Notes:

1. Your move-out inspection must be booked before 12pm on the last date of your tenancy (the last day of the month). At the time of your move-out inspection, your unit must be empty and clean. Please be prepared to return all original and copied keys at this time.

2. Any and all repairs, repainting, trash removal, cleaning, and/or any other expenses that are attributed to restoring your home to its condition prior to your tenancy will be deducted from your Security Deposit. If additional money is needed to restore the unit, House of Rosie will send you a detailed invoice. Your Security Deposit and/or a report of expenses will be provided within 10 days of your move-out inspection.

3. Please remember, delivering your home in the same condition as the day you moved in will ensure you receive your damage deposit in full and have a smooth move-out process.
